Ms.Siyeon Kim is distinguished soprano whose musical journey has taken her to the pinnacle of the vocal world. Currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Iowa, Ms. Kim holds an Artist Diploma from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music.
Ms. Kim's illustrious career boasts a repertoire spanning a wide array of operatic roles and solo performances. Notable credits include portraying Violetta in "La traviata," Carolina in "Il Matrimonio Segreto," Josephine in "H.M.S. Pinafore," and many more. Her exceptional talent has graced prestigious stages, including performances with the Duke Symphony Orchestra and the Korea National Opera Gala Concert.
Recognized for her outstanding achievements, Ms. Kim has garnered numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. She is the winner of esteemed competitions such as the Mirabell Performance Competition in Salzburg, Austria, and the NATS student audition in Ohio. Additionally, she has been honored with the Richard Miller Most Promising Singer Award and The Boris Goldovsky Prize in Opera.
Ms. Kim's passion for music extends beyond the stage as she finds joy in teaching and guiding aspiring vocalists. Her dedication to the art of voice instruction is evident in her role as an instructor at Cantabile Voice Studio, where she shares her wealth of knowledge and experience with students.
